About
Our Mission Statement
We help people rise above bad habits, injury, aging, and the noise of fad fitness through proven coaching, supportive community, and simple, effective training. Our mission is to help every person who walks through our doors reclaim their health, build confidence, and achieve more than they thought possible.

Our Story
Structure began with a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel strong, capable, and confident in their own body.
It started in Sheffield, England, in 2014, with a passion for helping everyday people discover that strength training wasn’t just for athletes or “gym people” — it was for anyone willing to learn.
That belief continued to grow and eventually took root in Athens, Ohio, in 2021, where Structure became a home for people looking for more than just a place to work out.
Over the years, Structure has helped more than 1,000 people learn how to strength train with confidence. For many, that meant walking into the gym feeling unsure or intimidated. For us, it meant creating a space where people could feel supported, coached, and capable from day one.
Structure was built to be different — not a generic gym experience, but a welcoming community where real people can build real strength that carries into everyday life. Because strength is about more than muscles. It’s about confidence, resilience, and the freedom to live life more fully.

Owner, Senior Coach
Lee Dubois
Owner, Senior Coach Lee founded Structure in Sheffield, England in 2014 with one belief: strength training is for everyone, not just athletes. After relocating to Athens, Ohio in 2021, he's helped more than 1,000 people — most of them first-time gym users — build real strength and lasting confidence. His coaching style strips away the noise, removes the guesswork, and meets people exactly where they are. Lee is the philosophy behind everything Structure does.

Personal Trainer
Noah Tish
A Hocking College graduate, Noah has spent the past year leading more than half of Structure's small group training sessions — and building some of the gym's best programs. He's easy-going and approachable, but holds a high standard and gets real results from the people he trains. Noah loves strength and conditioning and currently competes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which means he takes movement quality seriously (especially your hinge). If you've ever left a session feeling stronger than you expected, there's a good chance Noah had something to do with it.

Personal Trainer
Rob
A retired Army veteran, black belt, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, Rob has spent decades leading and coaching people through genuinely hard things. He brings an unmatched work ethic to every session and has a rare ability to push people past the limits they set for themselves. At Structure, Rob coaches our teenage athletes, leads the Men's Five Bar Club (coming soon), and will be heading up our new Self Defence Basics class (also coming soon). If you're ready to find out what you're made of, Rob is your coach.
